Overview

Our Ava’s Angels Halo and Wings Learning Programs encourage children to become active, creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think for themselves. And we teach our children how to learn, not just here, but throughout their lives. More a labor of love than a business, Ava’s Angels Childcare surpasses traditional home childcare as well as institutionalized daycare centers.

We use the Mother Goose Time curriculum, which is correlated to the Texas Pre-Kindergarten guidelines and includes lessons over many discipline areas. Children are introduced to the same concepts in different ways, so they internalize the lessons and learn to reason.

Here are just a few of the topics we cover to prepare children for school:

* Foundational Concepts: Shapes, colors, following directions.

* Language Development: Letters, sounds, words, stories, retention.

* Math Development: Matching, sorting, recognizing numbers, counting.

* Social Learning: Collaboration, sharing, helping, supporting each other, listening to directions.

* Motor Skills: Using tools, forming shapes, letters and numbers, physical play.

* Life Skills: Respect, participation, accepting responsibility, community involvement.

At Ava’s Angels Childcare, children start building a firm foundation and receive the basic skills they will need to succeed beyond school years.

We cater to Southwest Metropolitan Houston and its surrounding communities such as, Sugar Land, Katy, Pearland, Richmond, West Oaks, Royal Oaks, Missouri City and Stafford.
